What is the difference between fast and precise trimming?
Fast trimming copies the video without re-encoding: instant and lossless, but it starts at the nearest keyframe (usually within a second). Precise trimming re-encodes the video to cut exactly at the requested frame.
How do I enter the start and end?
In minutes and seconds: 1:05 for 1 minute 5 seconds. You can also type seconds (65) or hours (1:02:03).
Is the video uploaded?
No, everything happens in your browser.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Processing happens entirely in your browser, on your device. No file is uploaded or stored. You can check: once the page has loaded, disconnect from the internet and the tool still works.
Is there a file size or number limit?
No. Since nothing goes through our servers, there is no quota. The only limit is your device's memory: a computer handles very large files more easily than a phone.
