Why flatten a PDF?
To send a filled form without the recipient being able to change the answers, and to make sure it looks the same in every reader, including on phones.
Does the text stay selectable?
Yes with "Flatten form fields". With "Flatten everything as an image", the pages become images and the text is no longer selectable.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Processing happens entirely in your browser, on your device. No file is uploaded or stored. You can check: once the page has loaded, disconnect from the internet and the tool still works.
Is there a file size or number limit?
No. Since nothing goes through our servers, there is no quota. The only limit is your device's memory: a computer handles very large files more easily than a phone.
