Which quality should I choose?
192 kbps suits almost everything. 320 kbps for music if the original video is good quality, 128 kbps for speech or a lighter file.
Can I extract the audio from a YouTube video?
The tool works on a file stored on your device. It does not download anything from the internet. Please respect copyright.
Is the MP3 made on a server?
No: MP3 encoding happens in your browser (the LAME encoder in WebAssembly if your browser has no MP3 encoder). Nothing is uploaded.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Processing happens entirely in your browser, on your device. No file is uploaded or stored. You can check: once the page has loaded, disconnect from the internet and the tool still works.
Is there a file size or number limit?
