Why is the GIF limited to 10 seconds?
GIF is an old and heavy format: a few seconds already weigh several MB. For a longer clip, trim the video to MP4 instead.
How do I get a smaller GIF?
Lower the width (320 px), the length and the smoothness (10 frames per second). These three settings matter most.
Is there a watermark?
No, never. The GIF is made on your device by the Lunyce engine (written in Rust) and it is yours.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Processing happens entirely in your browser, on your device. No file is uploaded or stored. You can check: once the page has loaded, disconnect from the internet and the tool still works.
Is there a file size or number limit?
No. Since nothing goes through our servers, there is no quota. The only limit is your device's memory: a computer handles very large files more easily than a phone.
Is it really free?
