In short

Your files and the information you enter never leave your device. All LUNYCE tools run in your browser: PDFs, images and documents are processed locally. Nothing is sent to our servers, nothing is stored. The site is funded by Google ads, which never have access to your files or what you type.

How to check

• Open your browser’s developer tools (F12 key), “Network” tab, then process a file: no request sends your document. You will see the site’s files, the audience measurement and, when ads are shown, Google’s ad requests, which never contain your files.
• The site applies a security rule (Content-Security-Policy) that limits allowed destinations to the site itself, Cloudflare’s audience measurement and Google’s advertising services. None of these requests carries your files.

Technical data

Like any website, the host (Cloudflare) receives the technical data needed to display the pages: IP address, browser type, requested page. It is used for the security and proper operation of the site, and never contains your files or what you enter. All the tools' libraries are hosted on lunyce.com. The site uses no external fonts.

If a page or file of the site fails to load (network outage, server error), your browser may send Cloudflare a technical error report (the “Network Error Logging” feature, address a.nel.cloudflare.com): page address, error type, date. This report never contains your files or what you type, and nothing is sent when everything works normally.

Audience measurement

To know which pages are viewed, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics: a Cloudflare script counts visits (page viewed, country, device type, source of the visit) without setting a cookie and without tracking visitors from one site to another. It never receives your files or what you enter. [TO BE CHECKED: legal basis and consent exemption for this audience measurement.]

Advertising

Ads are served by Google Ireland Limited (Google AdSense). With your consent, Google and its partners use cookies and identifiers to show personalized ads and measure their performance; without your consent, ads are limited or non-personalized. Google acts as an independent controller for this data, which may be transferred outside the European Union, notably to the United States, under the framework Google provides. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data. As we receive neither your files nor what you enter, we hold no data about you in that respect.
